60 years of tradition in the water treatment
In 2008, we took a look into the past, present and future of CWT. As the year 2008 marked a milestone in many ways for the family business.
Looking back: it all began in 1948 with the foundation of the company „Hans
Christiani & Co KG“ in Cologne. After several different stations around Germany the company was last located in Eschweiler until Mai 2008. In the summer of that same year, CWT finally reached its new international home base in the German Capital - Berlin. Uniting all parts of CWT in one company building with production facilities nearby just outside the city created the perfect environment for business development and flexible working conditions.
In October 2008 CWT celebrated the 60th company anniversary with many of the long lasting partners and friends.
We are all exited to take on the journey of the „next 60 years“ of CWT, Germany.

Catronic®
The Catronic® series was first used in 1977 and started with the name "Caltronic" which had to be changed later on due to legal naming righs.
The units have been constantly improved over the years and still prove to be one of the most reliable water treatment devices against scale and rust until today.
Popular units are the Catronic C2, Catronic C3 and the Catronic C4.

The History of CWT
1948 - 1970
В 1948 году в Кельне (Германия) Ганс Отто Кристиани основывает компанию под названием "Hans Christiani & Co." Вначале он занимается разработкой и производством электродвигателей. moreПослевоенное немецкое "экономическое чудо" способствует развитию производства водяных насосов и электронных регуляторов. Предприятие развивается быстрыми темпами. В 1959 году производство переносится в более просторную промышленную зону в пригороде Кельна – Вайденпеш.
1970 – 1980
В ноябре 1975 года, после получения диплома инженера - экономиста с отличием, в фирму своего отца приходит Рольф Кристиани. Являясь представителем молодого поколения, он привносит свежие идеи, порождающие новые виды продукции. moreС этого времени сфера деятельности компании включает проблему механической очистки воды. Тогда появляется первая серия приборов для очистки воды от известкового налета - Catronic®. В скором времени Catronic покоряет Францию, Италию, Испанию, Венгрию, а также Скандинавские страны.
1980 – 1990
В 1980 году, после раннего ухода из жизни основателя фирмы, главой компании становится Рольф Кристиани. Он решает сосредоточить развитие фирмы исключительно на перспективном рынке "механической обработки воды". moreВ то время это считалось чрезвычайно рискованным шагом, когда многие, не знавшие тонкостей технологии, утвержали, что прибор просто не будет работать. Однако уже в скором времени даже эти скептики увидели, что будущее - в данной, тогда еще неизвестной технологии. В 1984 году у фирмы появляется новое название, сохранившееся по сей день – "Christiani Wassertechnik GmbH".

1990 – 2000
В 1991 году, после многолетней оптимизации работы прибора Catronic®, появляется его прототип совершенно нового поколения приборов, защищающих от образования известкового налета - Vulcan more. Он быстро завоевывает рынок. В мае 1990 года производство перемещается в Эшвайлер. Теперь компания экспортирует свою продукцию и в Восточную Европу.
2000 - 2008
В апреле 2005 года, после окончания обучения в Берлине и Риме, к работе приступает младший сын Рольфа Кристиани - Цедрик Кристиани. moreОпытный специалист по сбыту, новый молодой партнер развивает с этого времени, главным образом, международные связи. После укрепления положения компании за границей, развиваются сферы обслуживания клиентов и международного маркетинга. С января 2006 года это находится в компетенции еще одного члена семьи - Джессики Кристиани.
